Each year the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) runs the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC). There are three levels of the competition offered each year, the AMC 8, AMC 10, and AMC 12. The AMC 10/12 have an A and a B section.
The Department of Mathematics will be hosting levels 8, 10 (A and B), and 12 (A and B). Students who qualify for the AIME I will also be able to write it at the University of Toronto. We do not host the AIME II.
Please refer to the AMC's website for further details on the different competitions and rules regarding which level you can write. Please note that you are responsible for ensuring you have registered for the correct competition and may be disqualified if you have selected the incorrect level for your grade. Proof of grade will be required on the test day.
The website also has sample problems available for practice.
