Fedya Manin joined the mathematics faculty as Associate Professor in September 2024. Manin completed his PhD in 2015 at the University of Chicago under the supervision of Shmuel Weinberger.  Subsequently, he had postdoctoral appointments at the University of Toronto and the Ohio State University, followed by a position as Assistant and Associate Professor at the University of California, Santa Barbara, from 2019 to 2024.
